Dinas Powys
A large village surrounded by countryside yet four miles west of Cardiff. There are excellent road and rail links with the M4 just fifteen minutes and the increasingly popular bay area, five. A residential area with good schools and recreational facilities including golf, tennis and of course, rugby. This along with cricket is played on the common which is just off the old village square. Here are a selection of shops and traditional public houses. If you are seeking a peaceful area yet need to be close to the city, this is the place to be.

Wenvoe
A small residential village west of Cardiff with good access to the M4 and Cardiff Wales International airport at Rhoose. There is a school of primary age and general village store. Culverhouse Cross with more comprehensive facilities is less than five minutes driving distance. In the centre of the village is the main public house with others on its fringes. A pleasant village with a broad mix of housing styles.

Penarth & Llandough
A seaside town predominantly built in the Victorian era with the then thriving dock serving the coal industry. The town is renowned for its elegant pier and esplanade with a pleasing mix of restaurants, bars and yacht club. There are the Italian gardens, established parks and cliff walk. The town centre offers very good shopping facilities including banks, building societies and post office(s). Cogan is on the northern side with the leisure centre and nearby supermarket. These facilities are also within easy reach of Llandough which is a community in itself with many homes having commanding views of the City. A comprehensive area with varying property styles and values.

Sully
A small coastal village situated between Penarth and the larger town of Barry. Many of the road names have been taken from places in Somerset, its coastline on the opposite side of the channel is visible most days. The village has its own island opposite a popular waterfront public house and restaurant. Children attend the village primary school and later go on to schools in either nearby Penarth or Cardiff. There is a general store, post office and two public houses. Homes here are highly sought after and are seldom available for long.
